“We have been told what a woman should look like, how a woman should behave, how women should not be involved in making decisions.

Everyday of my life, I strive to change the narrative. I try to establish the fact that women are powerful. It shows from the things I do and the way I express myself.

International Women’s Day to me is the celebration of every woman all over the world. I represent every woman wanting to be heard and seen. I stand and say I am a woman and I make my own decisions.
