Highly Commended "Impact Management Champion" at the 2023 NatWest SE100 Social Business Awards

Last night, we had the pleasure of attending the 2023 NatWest SE100 Index and SE100 Social Business Awards in East London. These awards are created and run by Pioneers Post, in partnership with NatWest S&CC, to celebrate and connect the UK’s leading social enterprises.

We were accompanied by our dream team, Tjiuatjiua, Faisal, and Didar, three of our Risers Programme Graduates who came as our ambassadors to represent Breadwinners and network with other organisations!

We are honoured to have made it onto the NatWest SE100 Index, a prestigious list which recognises the UK’s top 100 social enterprises each year, alongside other brilliant and inspiring social enterprises leading social change in a range of issue areas, from supporting low-income youth into higher education, to making workplaces more inclusive, to providing innovative mental health tools using music.

A special shoutout and congratulations to NEMI Teas and BikeWorks, fellow social enterprises supporting refugees who also made it onto the SE100 Index!

SE100 Social Business Awards

We are thrilled to have been shortlisted as finalists for the Top 5 Impact Management Champions this year again, alongside other fantastic organisations: Cockpit, Generation You Employed, Groundwork Northwales, and Noise Solution.

We received the “Highly Commended” prize together with Groundwork Northwales for the Impact Category, an area of work we are particularly passionate about and proud to be acknowledge for thanks to our 2023 Participatory Action Research Report led by our Risers Graduate Abdoul.

A massive congratulations to Noise Solution, this year’s Impact Management Champions! They deliver music mentoring programmes for at-risk youth to help them change their lives by making music.
