The Breadwinners Programme
Providing refugees with their first job in the Uk
About the Breadwinners Programme
The programme supports young refugees, aged 17 to 24, with newly received status who are struggling to find work in the UK, by providing them with their first job opportunity. Our Breadwinners participants work as Market Stall Managers in London or Brighton, earning the UK Living Wage, until they are ready and able to progress into full-time jobs or run their own business.
Throughout the programme, we support participants to improve their English, gain qualifications and build their networks. Every Breadwinner also has their own 1:1 mentor.
Breadwinners is ideal for those who haven't had official work experience in the UK yet or are struggling to find work and are eager to start working.
